MediaPOINTE’s VIDi4d decoder is used in conjunction with the VIDi4 encoder blade for video over IP transport. The VIDi products stream video resolutions up to 720p & 1080i and graphical resolutions up to 720 x 1280 over a WAN network.
The VIDi4d connects to any display, TV, plasma or LCD and decodes a live stream from any of the VIDi4 encoder blades on the network. Corporations, education and government institutions can create their own broadcast network with the VIDi products.

•The VIDi4d is designed to provide system integrators with a premium solution for interactive AV-over-IP. The incorporation of low bit rate codecs such as H.264 allows the use of HD content without the associated bandwidth issues. The reduction of bandwidth allows for lower infrastructure costs, thus reducing the total cost of ownership. be both discreet and robust.
•The slim-line black case can be mounted under a desk or counter top and is designed to discourage unauthorized removal. With the remote control access the unit is easily controlled by the user and multiple channels can be selected within the network.
